English Play Script - The Fox and the Tiger
Scene 1: The Forest Entrance
(The stage is set with trees and bushes. A fox enters, looking around nervously.)
Fox: (whispering to itself) Oh no, oh no! I can hear the tiger’s footsteps nearby. What should I do?
(Suddenly, the tiger appears, walking majestically across the stage.)
Tiger: (roaring) Who dares to disturb my path?
Fox: (faking calmness) Greetings, mighty king of the forest! I was just admiring your strength and beauty.
Tiger: (smirking) You think me strong, do you?
Fox: (nodding eagerly) Indeed! No one in this forest dares to challenge your power.
Tiger: (puffing out its chest) Then why do you tremble so?
Fox: (quickly) Tremble? No, no! I am but a humble creature who seeks to learn from the great ruler.
Tiger: (grinning) Very well, little fox. Show me how you honor my might.
(The fox thinks quickly.)
Fox: (brightening up) Of course, noble tiger! Allow me to lead you through the forest. All creatures will bow before your presence.
Tiger: (impressed) Lead on, then.
Scene 2: Through the Forest
(The fox leads the tiger deeper into the forest. Animals begin to scatter at their approach.)
Fox: (pointing dramatically) Behold, mighty tiger! Look how they fear you!
Tiger: (swaggering) Yes, yes! My roar strikes terror into their hearts.
(A deer bolts past them.)
Fox: (cackling inwardly) Ah, see how they run! They know better than to cross paths with you.
Tiger: (boasting) I am the undisputed ruler of these woods.
(They continue walking until they reach a group of rabbits.)
Rabbit 1: (shrieking) It’s the tiger! Run for your lives!
Rabbit 2: (squeaking) But wait… isn’t that the fox leading him here?
Fox: (rolling eyes) Ignore me, rabbits. This is all about the tiger’s greatness.
(The rabbits flee in panic.)
Tiger: (laughing heartily) Ha! Even the timid ones tremble at my name.
Scene 3: Back at the Forest Entrance
(The fox and tiger return to where they started.)
Fox: (bowing low) Your Majesty, your reign over this forest is absolute.
Tiger: (proudly) Yes, yes! None dare defy me now.
Fox: (smiling slyly) Perhaps we could celebrate your victory with a feast.
Tiger: (agreeing) A fine idea! Go fetch us some food, little fox.
Fox: (nods and scurries offstage) Certainly, Your Highness!
(As soon as the fox leaves, the tiger realizes something is wrong.)
Tiger: (muttering) Wait… why did those animals flee when they saw me? Am I truly that fearsome?
(The fox returns with a basket full of berries.)
Fox: (handing over the basket) Here, Your Majesty. Enjoy your meal.
Tiger: (staring at the basket) Berries? Are you mocking me?
Fox: (sheepishly) Well… perhaps I exaggerated your powers slightly.
Tiger: (growling) Slightly? You led me through the forest pretending I was invincible!
Fox: (grinning nervously) And look how it worked! Everyone ran away.
Tiger: (calming down) Hmm, perhaps there is some truth in what you say. Still, next time, no more lies!
Fox: (relieved) Of course, Your Majesty.
(They both exit the stage together.)
