【my（summer及holiday英语作文六年级）】Summer holiday is the best time of the year for me. I always look forward to it because I can have a lot of fun and relax after a busy school term.

This summer, I had a very exciting and unforgettable holiday. I spent most of my time with my family. We went on a trip to the beach. It was very hot, but the sea breeze made it comfortable. I swam in the sea, built sandcastles, and played volleyball with my cousins. It was so much fun!

In the morning, I usually got up early and did my homework. Then I would go out to play with my friends. We rode bikes, played football, and sometimes went to the park. In the evening, I liked watching TV or reading books. Sometimes I helped my mom cook dinner. I learned how to make some simple dishes, like fried eggs and tomato soup.

I also visited my grandparents in the countryside. There were many trees and animals around their house. I enjoyed feeding the chickens and collecting eggs. The air was fresh and quiet, which made me feel relaxed.

Although my summer holiday was short, I had a lot of good memories. I learned to be more independent and spend time with my family. I also had a lot of fun. I hope next summer will be just as great!
