Last weekend, my family and I had an unforgettable experience. We decided to go to a hot spring resort located in the countryside. The weather was perfect—slightly cool but not too cold—and it felt like the ideal time for some relaxation.
The journey there was pleasant. The car ride took about two hours, during which we enjoyed the scenic views of rolling hills and lush greenery. As we approached the hot springs, the air became warmer and carried a faint sulfuric smell, which is typical of natural hot springs.
When we arrived, we were greeted by the warm hospitality of the staff. They led us to our private hot spring pool surrounded by trees and rocks. It was so peaceful; you could hear birds chirping softly in the background. My parents immediately soaked their tired feet in the mineral-rich water while my younger brother and I played around the pool, splashing each other with joy.
The water itself was incredibly soothing. It wasn’t overly hot, just right for long soaks. My mom told me that soaking in hot springs can help relax muscles and improve blood circulation. She even brought along some herbal tea packets, which she brewed while sitting on a nearby bench. The aroma of the tea mingled beautifully with the natural scent of the forest.
After spending a couple of hours relaxing in the hot springs, we decided to explore the rest of the resort. There was a small café where we enjoyed a simple yet delicious lunch. Later, we also visited a small garden filled with flowers and ponds. It was a perfect way to end our day.
Before leaving, we bought some souvenirs from the gift shop. My dad picked up a few mineral water bottles as gifts for his colleagues. Overall, it was a wonderful trip filled with laughter and tranquility. We all agreed that we would definitely return someday.
Going to the hot springs was a great reminder of how important it is to take breaks from our busy lives and enjoy nature’s beauty. It’s something I’ll cherish forever!
